Welcome to Daylilies Of Kenefick

Tucked away in the woodlands of Southeast Texas, near the small rural community of Kenefick in Liberty County, our gardens are surrounded by native oaks, hickory and pine trees. Accented by dogwood, magnolia and holly trees, the vibrant colors of a multitude of daylilies beckon from the clearings. 

We began our journey into the wonderful world of daylilies in 1980, with one small flower bed. On a visit to a daylily garden, Katy was introduced to hybridizing, and our gardens began to expand. The results of her efforts reflect the wide range of interest we share in the many forms and colors of the daylily.

We welcome visitors to our gardens at any time. May and June are the best times to come to see the daylilies in peak bloom. Just give us a call for directions, and to be sure we will be here to meet you.

If you can’t come to visit in person, we hope you will tour through our offerings on this website. We offer daylilies through mail order, and will dig and ship at your convenience.
